I am a South Florida native turned Orange (Wo)man who received her Bachelor’s degree in English and Textual Studies from Syracuse University. After graduating, I served a year with City Year an Americorps Organization as a reading and writing interventionist for freshmen at Miami Norland Senior High School. It was my interest in reading and writing that led me to enroll in law school

Upon graduating from Nova Southeastern University – Shepard Broad College of Law, I worked as an Attorney focusing on workers’ compensation defense. That experience was the spark that ultimately lit the fuse , and turned into a continued interest in insurance litigation. Shortly thereafter, I was afforded the opportunity to work in the first – party property arena with a Plaintiff’s firm. Ultimately, I transitioned back into insurance defense and presently focus on first – party property litigation.
