I was born and raised in the great state of North Carolina where I attended North Carolina State University, graduating with honors.  As a lover of all things aquatic, I was drawn to South Florida at a very early age and had the great fortune of attending the University of Miami School of Law where I graduated with honors.  My experience at the “U” included immersion in a trial advocacy program taught by some of the country’s most cutting-edge legal talent.  Upon leaving he “U,” I embarked on a career that has involved a diverse civil litigation trial practice emphasizing insurance litigation coverage and contract disputes and their associated tort claims, as well as the defense of product, premises, and professional liability claims.  My practice also includes significant experience in the area of asbestos personal injury claims and the management and defense of those claims on behalf of product and premises defendants.

The practice of law continues to evolve at an amazing pace, and I enjoy working with a broad range of clients to develop effective litigation strategies that can keep pace with this evolution in an effort to reach favorable outcomes.

I practice regularly in state and federal courts throughout Florida. Before joining TorresVictor, I was a member of the Personal Injury and Property Damage Practice Group at Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP in Coral Gables, Florida.
