Sara Moore is an experienced litigator with a focus on insurance defense, as well as commercial and general liability matters. Sara represents clients in both federal and state courts. Originally from Miami, Sara earned a BS degree in Finance from Florida State University College of Business. Sara obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Florida International University College of Law. While in law school, Sara interned for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, and also participated in an international comparative law program in Seville, Spain. Sara has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2010, and is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Sara has worked as a criminal defense attorney, where she was provided with the opportunity to handle numerous jury trials to verdict, and she prepared appellate briefs on a variety of matters. A notable case is Escalante v. State, 165 So. 3d 839 (Fla. 2d DCA 2015), in which Sara wrote the winning petition for writ of prohibition.
Sara has applied her trial experience to her civil practice in defending a variety of civil disputes. Sara is also experienced in rendering coverage opinions and performing examinations under oath.
